Refund and Cancelation Policy

At Sosa House Cleaning, our mission is to provide exceptional, reliable, and detailed cleaning services that exceed expectations. We value transparency and fairness in every interaction. Our refund and cancellation policies vary based on the service model selected:

💳 1. Subscription Clients

This applies to clients who are billed on the 1st of each month for recurring services.

  • Billing Date & Cancellations:
    Payments are charged on the 1st of each month. Clients may pause or cancel their plan any time before the charge date by contacting us.
  • Refunds After Charge Date:
    If the card has already been charged:
    • A 3.99% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
    • Services rendered will be prorated and deducted from the refund.
  • Prorating Details:
    Each completed cleaning within the month will be calculated at the current rate, and the remaining balance (minus the processing fee) will be returned to the client.

🧽 2. Pay-As-You-Go Clients

This applies to clients who pay per visit, typically after service completion.

  • Service Satisfaction Guarantee:
    If there is a justified case of negligence or damage, we may:
    • Issue a full or partial refund, OR
    • Offer a complimentary re-cleaning, depending on the situation.
  • Complaint Window:
    Any complaint must be submitted within 24 hours of the completed service. Once we are notified, we will send a team to address the issue the next day, targeting only the specific areas of concern.
  • No Refunds for “Bad Experience” Claims:
    Refunds will not be issued based solely on dissatisfaction without evidence of negligence. Clients are encouraged to allow us to remedy the issue through a re-cleaning.

🕒 3. Late-Cancellation Fee

To respect the time of our professional cleaners and scheduled clients:

  • $80 Late-Cancellation Fee will apply when appointments are cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

🧾 4. General Conditions

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days once approved.
  • All refunds are subject to our review and verification of service logs, reports, and client communication.
  • Excessive refund requests, abuse of the policy, or misuse of the service may result in service termination.
